On a sunny autumn day, I went cycling on my favorite course to enjoy the scenery of the countryside.
With hardly any flat stretches but lots of small easy ups and downs, this course offers a variety of views and riding experiences.
The patchwork patterns of farms and fields on the rolling hills are fantastic! I started, rode through the downtown Kurisawa, and came to the first uphill.
I didn't mind because I wasn't tired yet, and I cycled up the hill smoothly.
From the top, I looked down and saw the various colors of farm fields and the autumn mountain foliage.
I went on, passed Prefectural Road No.
30, and made a right turn at a T-shaped intersection.
Again, the panoramic scenery came into view! The course had alternating ups and downs.
On the up-slopes, great views stretched out ahead of me as I went up, and on the down-slopes I enjoyed smooth and easy rides.
In some sections, I encountered some car traffic, but for most of the course I was cycling through mountains, fields and farms.
There weren't many shops along the course, so you should take some drinks and food with you.
The more well-prepared you are, the more fun you'll have!
